The New IKEA Shopping List...

I've been dreaming of IKEA lately...

Two of these woven pendants over our dining room table would be fabulous!

This bright rug in our bedroom:

I would love two of these side tables as coffee tables for the living room:

If the above side tables don't look good, there's always this sleek coffee table too:

The hard part:  how do I convince Michael to make IKEA trip #65 to check these items out?  I really think he is beginning to hate IKEA.  His words:  IKEA = assembly which ='s work!  :)

Who Needs Appliances Anyhow...

Being that our condo was a short sale property, the previous owners took the refrigerator, washer/dryer & stove...  thanks a lot!

We ordered all new Kenmore appliances from Sears.  Sears was reasonably priced and they had the best warranties on all of their products.  I LOVE our front loading washer & dryer...  

they are located in a closet in our master bathroom [Thanks Mom & Dad for our beautiful appliances!]

No more camping chairs...

Michael and I finally had a chance to go furniture shopping.  Since I live in a room at my parent's house and Michael rented a room with a friend, neither one of us had any living/dining room furniture to speak of.  Since we had plans to paint and rip apart the condo first, we've been waiting to buy furniture because it would be in the way SO, camping chairs it has been!

Our new couch and dining room set will be delivered on Monday.  I love them both with the exception of the checkered pillows!  Those will have to go :)  Looking forward to shopping at West Elm for curtains and accessories.
